Make sure that both "I want to search by Case Number or Citation Number" and "Citation Number" (circled in red in the picture) are selected (they will appear gray; if one is not gray, click in it to select it and turn it gray). If your ticket is in our system, you should see a result that looks similar to the picture above if your ticket does not appear in the results, please check first to see if you typed the ticket number correctly. If you did, then check to see if the ticket was issued in Hillsborough County -- you will see that at the top on the left side of the ticket. If it was issued in Hillsborough County, then wait a few days and try again -- the law enforcement agency may not have submitted the ticket to us yet. The amount due for this ticket appears in red. The green arrow to the right will show you what your options for this ticket are. Click on that green arrow.

You will now see what options are available to you for this particular traffic ticket. Every option will not be available for every ticket depending on the violation and your driving history. This sample ticket has an option to request or set a court date. If your ticket has the same button, then click on it.

IMAGE Hover Request Court Date

You will get a popup like this. The Clerk always sets any court date requests for the next available court date. You do not get to choose the court date you want. You can either accept this court date by clicking on the orange "Schedule Court Date for Selected Date" or you can cancel and do something else. You can also choose to come back in a few days and try requesting a court date again -- it should be a later date by then, and that later date might fit in your schedule better,  Do not wait too long -- you must select a court date within 30 calendar days from the date your ticket was issued.

NOTE:  Once a court date has been scheduled, you must appear in court at that date and time. Failure to appear in the correct court at the assigned date and assigned time may result in additional penalties, suspension of your driving privileges and, depending on the violation, a warrant for your arrest being issued.  You can always come back to this website to look up and verify your court hearing date, time and location.
