What are my options for obtaining a Home Solicitation Sales Permit from the Clerk's office?

Applications for the Home Solicitation Sales Permit must be filled out in person at the Clerk's Office. In-person appointments are required and permits are processed at all locations (Tampa, Plant City and Brandon). Schedule your appointment online.

How do I obtain a Home Solicitation Sales Permit?

All applicants must appear in person, and present the following:

  • Current government-issued photo identification
  • Social Security Card
  • Two (2) recent passport photos
  • Completed Home Solicitation Sales Permit Application
  • A non-refundable application fee of $100 

NOTE:  All applicants are required to have a local record search completed by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, located at 1238 Tech Blvd Tampa, FL 33619. All applicants are required to be fingerprinted by a registered Live Scan Provider [external link].  To ensure that criminal history results are returned to Hillsborough County, applicants must provide the selected Live Scan provider with the our FDLE ORI results number FL729015Z.
