Self Service Options
If we didn't list the service that you need as being available via self-service online or via telephone, and you have to come in to one of the Clerk's offices to get full service, click here to see more information for many of the in-person service counters (child support, civil court, criminal court, family court, probate, marriage license, recording, tax deeds, value adjustment board and traffic) and where our Clerk service locations are. You can also click here to use ClerkExpress to make an appointment for marriage licenses, marriage ceremonies, passport applications, home solicitation permits, child support, civil court case filing, criminal court case filing, family court filing, guardianship/probate filing, juvenile cases, and traffic case business (most appointments with the exception of passports can only be made at our downtown Tampa locations).
If you cannot use self service and decide to call in during normal business hours to speak to a customer service representative and the wait on hold is too long, you may be able to request a call back during normal business hours.
There are some services and many records that the Clerk is not the custodian of. To check to see who is the custodian of records or services that we get the most requests from the public for, please check this page.
