A red light camera NOTICE OF VIOLATION is not yet a traffic ticket or citation. It is not in the possession of the Clerk of Court until it is converted into a traffic ticket or citation if you do not pay for it. You have special options with a NOTICE to keep it from becoming a ticket.

A red light camera TRAFFIC TICKET or UNIFORM TRAFFIC CITATION has been converted from a NOTICE because you failed to pay for it before the deadline. The Clerk will receive the traffic ticket from the law enforcement agency. You have different options with a TRAFFIC TICKET.
