January 25th marked a special occasion– Hillsborough County's birthday! As the custodian of official records in Hillsborough County, our office holds 190 years' worth of documents that we make available to the public.

• You can visit the Clerk’s Office between 8 am and 5 pm on weekdays at the Pat Frank Courts Building (419 Pierce Street, Tampa, FL 33602) to see some of these reproduced historic maps in person. The Tampa Bay History Center has also added some historic plat maps to its Touchton Map Library. All Marriage Licenses can now be searched online, as well as plat records from 1948 to the present.
