Clerk’s invoices go online
Tens of thousands of purchasing invoices for the Clerk’s Office are now available online for public viewing.
The invoices, which cover purchases dating back to April 2012, are searchable by date, amount, invoice number and vendor. The documents were previously available only through public records requests. The invoices cover spending for such things as professional services, commodities and utilities.
“This online tool provides a heightened level of transparency and accountability,” said Clerk of Court and Comptroller Pat Frank. “It is just the latest example of the digital revolution that has transformed our office.”

The data base will be updated automatically when invoices are processed. Vendors can use the data base to find out if an invoice has been received or processed.
Invoices before April 2012 are filed on paper and available through public records requests.
