Valentine's Day is always in high demand for couples wishing to get married. In Joe Chillura Courthouse Square, Hillsborough Clerk of Circuit Court & Comptroller Victor D. Crist officiated a ceremony for 37 couples during our annual Valentine's Day ‘Tie the Knot’ ceremony. Couples preregistered for their marriage licenses through the Hillsborough Clerk of Court Office during the weeks preceding this special event.

After the event, couples received a special commemorative Marriage Certificate. The Official Certificate of Marriage will be mailed within one week. The Clerk waived the normal $30 ceremony fee.

“We perform marriage ceremonies daily. Many couples dream of getting married on Valentine’s Day, and we are happy to be able to make these dreams come true in this beautiful ceremony,” Clerk Victor Crist explained.
