The Clerk of the Circuit Court acts as an agent for the State of Florida for issuing licenses per Florida Statute 741. As a public service, our office also performs marriage ceremonies. The Marriage License Department is here to answer your questions concerning obtaining a marriage license in Hillsborough County.

Our Tampa, Brandon, and Plant City locations have Wedding Ceremony spaces available. The Brandon Office can comfortably accommodate 6 guests and the Downtown Tampa and Plant City Offices can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests to celebrate the couple’s special day. Appointments for online ceremonies are recommended but walk-ins are welcome.
