Hillsborough Clerk of Court Valentine's Day Tie the Knot Ceremony

The Clerk's Office knows that Valentine's Day is always in high demand for couples wishing to get married. That's why we are back with our annual Tie the Knot Wedding Ceremony Event! The Hillsborough Clerk of Circuit Court & Comptroller, Victor D. Crist, will officiate a group wedding ceremony on Valentine's Day 2026 in Joe Chillura Courthouse Square. Couples must be pre-registered and have obtained marriage licenses through the Hillsborough Clerk of Court's Office before the event. Visit hillsclerk.com/marriage to learn more.
At the conclusion of the event, couples will receive a special commemorative Marriage Certificate. The Official Certificate of Marriage will be mailed within one week from the date of the ceremony. The Clerk has waived the normal $30 ceremony fee. Standard license fees will still apply.
The ceremony will be conducted in English, with an ASL interpreter, and in Spanish.
